ORBIT International Conference on Religious Identities and Violence in Schools.

In Trebinje, from April 28–30, 2026, an international conference titled “Religious Identity, Bullying and Wellbeing at School: A Transnational Collaboration” was held as part of a COST EU project led by the University of Dublin.

On behalf of the TPO Foundation, Prof. Dr. Zilka Spahić Šiljak delivered a lecture on the topic of global ethics in schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the lecture, attended by representatives from over 30 European countries participating in the COST program, Prof. Dr. Spahić Šiljak presented how the TPO Foundation has worked on promoting global ethics in schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the ETOS initiative, the P4C program, Living Values, and peer and gender-based violence initiatives.

Over the past 20 years, universal ethical values have been incorporated through training for teaching staff from five cantons, as well as through replication workshops involving more than 10,000 primary and secondary school students.

All publications—manuals, comics, storybooks, and more—have been distributed free of charge and are available in PDF format on the TPO and Thinkerica.ba websites.

This was also an opportunity for the TPO Foundation to officially join the COST program and, together with other partners, participate in conferences, writing scientific papers, and organizing other scientific and research projects.
