Media Pedagogy is one of the educational programs that TPO Foundation implemented within the project "Initiative for creative dialogue and education ICDE". The program includes series of activities taking place in BH schools in cooperation with cantonal ministries of education, with the aim of reducing and preventing peer and gender-based violence in schools.
Media pedagogy helps to understand how the media is not neutral and it can create the hegemonic view of the world, and advocate a particular ideology, but also media can serve to promote good, empathy, peace and respect for human rights.
Through various forms of training, seminars and competitions, teachers and students are trained not only to prepare interesting media content that can be used as an attractive pedagogical tools in teaching and extracurricular activities, but also to create a new media culture in the area of ​​school and local community - a culture of responsibility and engaged citizenry.
