TPO Foundation organized the first part of the Life Stories and
Dialogues Training Course

TPO Foundation organized the first part of the Life Stories and Dialogues Training Course that was held in Sarajevo this May. The course is part of the project Women, Peace Building and Reconciliation in BiH and was attended by 16 participants, 11 of whom represented 9 partner organizations in the project Women, Peace Building and Reconciliation in BiH. The course was led by Nejra Nuna Čengić, doctoral candidate at Institorum Studiorum Humanitatis, author and lecturer at the postgraduate course: Life Stories and Dialogues.
The project Women, Peace Building and Reconciliation in BiH aims to shed the light on the role of Bosnian and Herzegovinian heroines who have been working on peacebuilding and reconciliation over the last 20 years and who have

not been the adequately recognized by the public and the authorities as their efforts and achievements were never recorded. Over the course of project implementation, TPO Foundation shall aim to record stories on women peacemakers that shall be analyzed, published and used for empowerment of future generations in BiH to promote peace and security for all marginalized and rights deprived society groups.
Training participants have acquired empirical and theoretical knowledge on the storytelling model, particularly on how to conduct and transcribe interviews. The following training session, planned for July this year, shall focus more on the interview analysis and practical application of this model.
