TEN TWO-DAY WORKSHOPS IN "EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES" PROJECT

Within the first phase of the Project Equal Opportunitiesten (10) two-day workshops on the topic of development of business plan were held in the month of November. The title of the workshop was Education of women for writing a business plan. The workshop paprticipants were women from the rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina who took part in the educational workshops for women's  empowerment and were chosen as the best participants to take part in the two-day workshops.   The goal of the two-day workshops was to introduce women with the concept of business and its significance for improving the status of women in the society. The goal was also to enable women to recognize business opportunities and to learn to craft their business ideas into the business plans.

Vive zene Tuzla:
Partner organization Vive žene from Tuzla organized the educational workshop for development of business plan on Wed November 29 2012 in Tuzla.  The workshop leaders were trainers from the Association  NERDA from Tuzla, while there were 16 women participants from the following rural area: Kravice, Suhe, Djuguma, Brčkog and Konjević polje. The workshop took place from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm and within that timeframe, the participants had a chance to get introduced with the main concepts of business and business plans, and they also had a chance to practice writing a good business proposal. The submission of business plans is planned for December 21, after which the NERDA trainers will evaluate the plans and award the best one with the amount of 2000KM.

Krajiška suza
Partner organization Krajiška suza from Sanski Most organized the educational workshop for development of business plan on November 23 and 24 2012 in Sanski Most. The workshop leaders were the representatives of Doo DENI KODEKS Fadil jakupović and Denijal Ogrešević, while there

were 10 women /girls participants from the following rural areas: Okreč, Kamengrad, Stari Majdan, Zdena and Poljak.  The trainers on this workshop provided participants with the additional meeting on November 30th in case they wanted to ask some questions and discuss their business plans before their submission. 

LARA
Partner organization LARA Bijeljina organized the educational workshop for development of business plan on November 29 and 30 2012 godine in hotel Drina in Bijeljina. The workshop leaders were Branka Mićić and Maja Stanković, while the following media followed the workshop’s implementation: TV

ARENA, RTV BN and SRNA. The workshop was held through the usage of interactive methods with the goal of ensuring the best knowledge production.  There were 20 women participants at the seminar, and they were coming from the following rural areas of the Bijelinja municipality: Velika Obarska, Amajlije, Janja, and Koraj.

MEDICA
Medica Zenica
 also organized the two-day educational workshop for development of business plan in November. There were 17 women present at the workshop from six (6) rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Begov Han, Orahvica, Stranjani , Babino, Vranduk  and Janjići. During the workshop the women were introduced to the fundamental elements of business plan, and each of the

elements was discussed through concrete examples both through the individual and group work.  Women participants had a chance to question and talk about ideas, as the workshop was based on the interactive approach /method of learning.  After the education, women submitted 14 business plans to Medica Zenica, and the best plan is to be announced soon.

BOSANSKO GRAHOVO
Partner organization Udruženje građanki Bosansko Grahovo organized the educational workshop for development of business plan on November 29 and 30 2012 in Hotel Park Livno workshop leaders were Jasminka Orman, Jasminka

Borković and Danka Zelić. Twenty (20) participants had a chance to get introduced to the fundamentals of business and writing business proposals, and they spent time practicing writing a good proposal. The workshop was successful resulting in 20 business proposals.
