Seminar was lead by Jasminka Borković, while there were 25 women participants coming from two municipalities Glamoč and Livno. The second part of the seminar informed participants about the Gender Action plan and the possibilities of its implementation.  Further on, the participants were introduced to the CEDAW recommendations (25) and general principals against discrimination. The accent was placed on the local gender action plan as an instrument for achieving gender equality, as well as municipal development document, which establishes comprehensive and coordinated policies to improve gender equality. The Association also held a workshop at which participants identified problems in their municipalities and give suggestions for their solution. This exercise has shown the way in which citizens can be activated, and served as an example of how to create a local GAP.
