Within the Project Empowering women returnees in BiH, implemented by the TPO Foundation and supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway, Udruženje građanki Grahovo held one-day seminar on UN resolution 1325: Women, peace and security on June 12, 2013 in Bosansko Grahovo. After the seminar, participants submitted their proposals for local peace initiatives and the commission has chosen the best peace initiative.
The best peace initiative of the applicant Aleksandra Lovren, for marking the International Day of Non-Violence was granted and implemented on October 2, 2013 in Bosansko Grahovo. Through the

implementation of peace initiatives street action was organized. Representatives of the various media attended the action and recorded the interaction of citizens on the subject of non-violence.
After the street action, citizens visited the exhibition of paintings at the Center for Children "Gnijezdo". The paintings were painted and presented by boys and girls from the Centre. The top 3 drawings were chosen and awarded gifts. Children presented their work and told what they know and what they learned that day on the International Day of Non-Violence.
