THE PREMIERE EXHIBITION OF COMICS SPECTER FEMINAUK THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY IN ZENICA

Promotion and exhibition of comics called Bauk FemiNauk were presented on 4.12.2104, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of cultural studies in Zenica. This is a continuation of activities under the campaign "Stop the violence" in the framework of the international campaign 16 Days of Activism and ICDE project.
The exhibition was presented by one of the text the author Nermina Trbonja and cartoonist Jakov Čaušević. The exhibition was hosted by the project coordinator Melika Šahinović. Nermina and Jakov

talked about emergence of comics which aim, through humorous comic situations, to cause people to question prejudices about feminism, gender equality and the position of women in contemporary BH society. Melika pointed out that often even random word meaning feminism causes wave stereotypical reactions. Those who know very little about feminism are usually fiercest critics, and the basic attitude of feminism is that women should have equal rights and opportunities as men. The feminist doctrine really is not any kind of bugaboo.
