Within the project "Psychosocial support in BiH" twelve trained volunteers of the Union of Students of the University of Tuzla – Elma Mujcinovic, Edin Mujcinovic, Edin Cerkezovic, Emir Brzovic, Elmira Begic, Almir Halilovic, Eldina Mahmuzic, Alisa Mujanovic, Dajana Nakic, Anita Pejic, Marina Supuković and Asmir Smajlovic – in cooperation with TPO Foundation held six workshops in the elementary school Klokotnica, Stanic Rijeka, the Municipality of Doboj Istok during April 2015. The workshop was attended by 76 school children from 1st to 4th grade. Children had the opportunity to get acquainted with each other through the game, and then through drawing represented themselves and their family. Afterwards, they had a more detailed talk about their wishes, dreams and
problems they are facing. Some children who have directly been affected by floods wrote their emotions on the “tree of feelings” and drew pictures that reminded them on the unfortunate events, so volunteers talked about their feelings related to that events. Volunteers have highlighted the importance of communicating their feelings with parents, teachers and friends. These workshops and meetings are really rare in our educational institutions, so children with great excitement wait the next workshops which are planned in the coming weeks. Parents of some children were present at the end of the workshop, after which they met with volunteers and the aim of the workshops.
