TPO Foundation Sarajevo has implemented a workshop for young people in the elementary school “Kalibunar” within the project “Initiative for Creative Dialogue and Education” (ICDE) on September 18, 2015. The participants of the workshop were pupils of eighth and ninth grade of the elementary school. The lecturer, Monja Suta-Hibert, used creative methods and interactive communication, in order to encourage young people to think about socially engaged art and the

significance of critical thinking. As a part of the workshop in Travnik, the lecturer presented a comic book “Nira” and used it for practices with pupils. In a mentioned practice, young people had a chance to be in a position of a heroine Nira and a young talented girl Una, whose parents can’t afford her primary education due to financial reasons. In this workshop, we stressed the importance of civic activism and promotion and protection of human rights.
