Within the project the “Initiative for Creative Dialogue and Education” (ICDE), TPO Foundation has implemented a workshop in the High School “Srebrenik” in Srebrenik on October 28, 2015. The workshop has been implemented in a high school library, with the help and support of school librarian Zeljka Banovic. The lecturer and coordinator, Monja Suta-Hibert, talked with the young people about socially engaged art as well as civic rights and

duties of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Within the workshop, a comic book “Nira” was presented as a unique example of socially engaged art. The heroine Nira is a young activist who fights for the rights of those who feel powerless and/or who are not familiar with their own rights. Through the realization of this workshop, students were invited to rethink civic rights but also to be active members of their local community, as well as the wider one.
