On February 19, 2016 in Orašje the workshop “Women for Peace and Stability in Local Communities: Project Proposals within UNSCR 1325” within the project “Economic Stability of Women as Contribution to Peace building in Community”. The participants were women from three northern B&H municipalities: Orašje, Domaljevac Šamac and Donji Žabari. The workshop was opened by Zilka Spahić-Šiljak, TPO Foundation programme director with the presentation on making projects with the purpose of peace prosperity in the community. The task for all participants was to come up with the ideas of peace building in their communities; therefore a particular attention was dedicated to design and project writing within the framework of the UN Resolution 1325. Considering the fact that all main guidelines of the abovementioned resolution are women, peace and safety, the participants wove their ideas on the wings of hope, peace and prosperity.

The participants were highly creative and entrepreneurial and the project proposals were permeated with library corpus enrichment where awareness raising on peace and women will be developed through the culture of reading, “House of Hope and Peace” where other cultures and customs will be introduced through DIY items and dishes, foundation of "Association of Women Farmers" since women in that segment are invisible despite their hard work and string of educations on gender based violence where target group will be educated and qualified for work and education of other community inhabitants on this problem and its recognition and prevention. All project proposals will be elaborated in details and within WA “Flower of Posavina” their further realization and practical appliance will be conducted.
