Beside various educational materials and workshops implemented by ETHOS Initiative lecturers for already three years in cooperation with pedagogical institutes and Ministries of Education in Sarajevo and Tuzla Cantons and Zenica - Doboj and Herzegovina – Neretva Cantons, ETHOS Initiative is renowned by the idea of initiating Global Ethic Schools.

Global Ethic School – What is it?
Many schools, in their respectable actions, want to make a certain recognition that will represent them in a positive manner. A highlighted profile of a school is made through the positive image reflecting the school daily life. The pulse of every school is mostly visible and renowned by functioning of so – called school coexistence, i.e. way of interaction between teachers and students, between teachers themselves, among students, teachers and parents, but also school and local community. In order to create quality relationships and trust within a school community it is utterly important to meet and remind the whole community (teachers, students and parents) of certain ethical values which are, regardless of religious and cultural affiliation, close and universally important for any community. It is the reason why ETHOS team is available for every school and teachers so they could design and perform with joint efforts as better and more positive actions as possible which will actively contribute to making of more open, positive and non – violent coexistence of a school community.

How to apply?
Your application should include the following elements:

• Adopted curriculum for the current year
• List of all previous activities in the field of ethical, interreligious and multicultural education
• Letter of motivation why your school should be Global Ethic School
• School headmaster's written approval for this application.

After the positive evaluation of your application ETHOS Initiative expert team will agree with your school upon the visit so we could meet the school management in person but also to get the impression about the whole school community. After the visit in the following days the school will be informed whether it is going to be Global Ethic School.
