More than 120 primary school teachers from Busovača, Fojnica, Stara Bila, Nova Bila and Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje successfully brought to an end school year 2016/17 with a positive attitude, relaxation, chat and assertive communication. Workshops ''Managing stress'' were moderated by school pedagogues that got the basic knowledge and skills in preventing stress at work.
From June 19 to 26, first set of workshops was held in five primary schools ''Uskoplje'', "Ivan Goran Kovačić", "Busovača", "Nova Bila" and "Bila" aiming to introduce a better understanding of stress at work and different techniques for overcoming stress in private and business environment. Activities are made not just to give psycho-social support to teachers, but also to empower existing human resource in school as well as empowering school collectives. Similar to Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, workshops consisted four modules: Module 1: Raising awareness of presence of stress, Module 2: Methods of self-evaluating stress and applying, Module 3: Mastering strategies for facing stress and Module 4: Adoption of techniques and developing skills for managing stress.
