Azra Imširović, politologist from Sarajevo, talked with young people in Mostar about topic "What is a gender of God?" at Second Socrates Cafe which was held on Octobar 31, 2019. Participants agreed that because of the limited human perspective, God is insensitive, but it is clear that he did not make distinction between men and women in creation.
These differences, as they say, are the result of male dominance and one-sided interpretations of religious texts, which put women in a stigmatized position.

In addition, they also pointed out that relying on particular quotes from religious authorities from centuries ago, could be problematic and lead to misinterpretations. They believe that the only ways to avoid it in the future are the courage to question everything and to educate continuously.
