"It is obvious that diplomacy is a male world," said Dr Ruth Wiseman, who was a special guest on the book launch "Sociology of Gender - Feminist Criticism" written by Zilka Spahić Šiljak. Book promotion was held on 9 of March 2020, on the occasion of International Women's Day at the Faculty of Law, University of Zenica. The promoters were: PhD Damir Kukić, PhD Spahija Kozlić, Dr Sabiha Husić and author of the book PhD Zilka Spahić Šiljak. The promotion was moderated by: assistant professor Dženana Radončić. During the promotion, the publication emphasized that talking about gender issues is a great challenge in a society such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that this topic needs to be addressed deeply, talked about, and rationally understood.

It was also pointed out that, in BiH, there is an essential misunderstanding of feminism, sex, gender, gender identities, so this publication is very important for our society, but it is also important how we talk about these concepts.The special guest of the promotion, Dr Ruth Wiseman, emphasized from her experience in working on these topics that men and women bear the equal responsibility for gender discrimination and that everyone should work together on its corrections. At the end of the promotion, it was concluded that we live in a patriarchy with the conviction that men and women are dichotomous categories, and the textbook "Gender Sociology - Feminist Criticism" is one step towards achieving gender equality
