UNIGEM: 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM - GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IN PARTNERSHIPS


Gender-based violence is not uncommon in our society. We find it in various spheres of life, including partnerships. Date 06.11.2021. in the premises of the amphitheater of the International University in Travnik, two workshops were held on the topic "16 days of activism - Why is this campaign important". In the first part of the workshop of the coordinator for the project University and Gender Mainstreaming (UNIGEM) at the International University of Travnik, Ms. Selma Otuzbir, presented the project to students (UNIGEM) while in the second workshop the members of the advisory part of the committee: doc. dr. Nedžada Tolja, doc. dr. sc. Lejla Skopljak, Nehad Gaši, MA, and Zlatko Mecan, MA, held a workshop on the topic: "Gender-Based Violence in Partnerships". Through the workshop, students were introduced to the legal framework in the field of violence and discussed the myths and facts of gender-based violence.
