UNIGEM: 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM - HUMAN RIGHTS, GENDER EQUALITY AND CIVIC ACTIVISM (DŽEMAL BIJEDIĆ UNIVERSITY OF MOSTAR)


Transcultural Psychosocial Education Foundation (TPO) and Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar, within the project "University and gender mainstreaming" (UNIGEM), with the aim of preventing and combating gender-based violence, discrimination and sexual harassment and ensuring integrity and quality in high school education, organized for students of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar workshops "Human Rights, Gender Equality and Civic Activism" on Friday, November 26, 2021. from 10:15 to 13:00 in the Information Hall at the Faculty of Economics, University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar.

The focus of the workshops is education and discussion on human rights, gender equality, stereotypes and prejudices, gender sensitive language, gender dimension in society, research and higher education, gender-based violence, and informing and animating students to design and submit student project initiatives for obtaining support through the UNIGEM project within the "16 days of activism".

Lectures and workshops were held outside. prof. dr. Rebecca Kotlo, van. prof. dr. Veldin Ovčina and outside. prof. dr. Edina Špago - Ćumurija, with the participation, discussion and active engagement of students of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, and cooperation with the Union of Students of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar.
