UNIGEM: 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM - UNIVERSITY OF DONJA GORICA (3)
The third workshop in a row within the UNIversity Gender and Mainstreaming project, and in anticipation of the 16 Days of Activism campaign, was held by Dr. Nikoleta Đukanović, November 19, 2021 at the University of Donja Gorica, Podgorica, Montenegro.
The participants of the workshop were students of Humanities, Faculty of Philology, Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business, Faculty of Culture and Tourism, International Hotel Management and Management VATEL.
At the workshop, students agreed on the implementation of four groups of activities, as follows:
Creating messages why the campaign is important and creating thematic visuals with designed messages, as well as the distribution of visuals on social networks during the campaign;
Recording video statements of students who would say in their statements why it is important: to achieve gender equality, enable equality, non-discrimination and tolerance, fight for the sanctioning of all types of violence, etc.
Visit of stakeholders and a mini research team in the field to collect data on gender-based violence against women in Montenegro (visit to UNDP, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Safe Women's House, NGO activists, etc.). The collected data would be translated into visual or infographic and distributed to students through social networks;
Conducting a video survey among students on gender equality; The material would be edited and posted on social networks.
