As part of the campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence", and within the UNIGEM project, a group of students from the University of Tuzla contributed through various activities. Students from three faculties of the University of Tuzla have designed and implemented activities such as:

- Students of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Tuzla

created printed and electronic posters with information on the rights and discrimination of women with disabilities in the field of education, health care, independent living, employment, protection against violence, politics;

interviewed four women with disabilities about their experiences in the field of education, health care, independent living, employment, family rights, participation in public and political life in the premises of the Information Center for Persons with Disabilities Lotos, Tuzla;

created an online survey in which a total of 432 respondents participated. The questions for the survey were designed by students with the help of professor Vesna Bratovčić;

The results of the survey showed:

that 50.2% of respondents met a woman with a disability who lives independently in their own house or apartment, and 49.8% of respondents did not meet;

that 52.6% of respondents met a man without a disability who married a woman with a disability, and 47.4% of respondents did not meet;

that 19.6% of respondents saw advertisements for care products, house, clothes, etc. in which the model is women with disabilities, and 80.4% of respondents did not see.

- Students of the Faculty of Law, University of Tuzla

with the support of Professor Dženeta Omerdić, they designed and created a video lasting approximately 7 minutes, the aim of which was to present the basic characteristics of the trial. The video was recorded in the experimental courtroom of the Faculty of Law. The subject of the court dispute was the violence of a young man against a girl, insisting on a consistent presentation of court proceedings, but also the existing prejudices that make it much more difficult to sanction the perpetrator. Through this activity, students sought to show the evident inequality in BH society;

they designed and created a video lasting about 3 minutes, the aim of which was to influence the awareness of young girls through various roles in order to motivate them to report possible violence. Namely, two female students played girls who are victims of violence and who told their stories. The messages are unique: violence needs to be reported. Their stories were further strengthened by the statements of other colleagues who, through a short presentation, emphasized that: "NO MEANS NO!", "VICTIM DID NOT ASK" and "REPORT VIOLENCE!". Through this activity, students sought to promote the prevention of gender-based violence, and to encourage all potential victims to report the perpetrator through social networks;

realization of education of students of the University of Tuzla through visits to different faculties and distribution of pamphlets.

- Students of the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla
