University of  Mostar (SUM) is one of the partner universities within the UNIGEM project. In 2021, SUM adopted the Gender Action Plan (GAP) and undertook a task to achieve several goals. On January 30, 2023, a workshop was held with members of the Advisory Committee for Gender Equality. At the head of the meeting was prof. Davorka Topić Stipić.

The workshop was led by the academic directors of the University Gender Resource Center of the University of Sarajevo (UNIGeRC), prof. Zilka Spahić Šiljak and prof. Jasna Kovačević. One of the goals of GAP was to incorporate the gender equality syllabus into the curriculum. These five syllabuses were incorporated into the elective university course called “Gender Equality” which is available for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The implementation and implementation of the Gender Action Plan is an activity of the project University and Gender Mainstreaming (UNIGEM), which is implemented by the TPO Foundation with the financial support of the British Embassy.
