Throughout the month, the teachers and students of the school participated in a campaign organized by the TPO Foundation as part of the UNIGEM project under the slogan “Support Victims and Survivors,” as well as the project “Be Responsible: Support, React, Report” (Youth in Action for Peacebuilding and Promoting Tolerance).
Along with coordinator Alma Ahmethodžić, they carried out various activities. The students from this Sarajevo school participated in a roundtable discussion with their peers from other schools, where they debated issues of conflict resolution, violence, and violence-based behavior in the education system.
They also attended a panel discussion on the topic “How to live in a patriarchal society with little desire for change?” which was organized in honor of International Human Rights Day and the conclusion of the “16 Days of Activism” campaign at the Jewish Community of BiH.
During the “16 Days of Activism” campaign, on December 11, 2024, the Secondary School for Textiles, Leather, and Design also hosted an exhibition of visual artwork on the theme “LOOK.”
