Donation and Visit to the Women’s House in Zmajevac Near Gradačac to Conclude the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign

The TPO Foundation wrapped up its “16 Days of Activism” campaign against gender-based violence with the theme “See Beyond.” During the campaign, a donation drive was held to provide hygiene packages to the Women’s House in Zmajevac near Gradačac. As part of the closing of the campaign, TPO Foundation representatives Ivana Kulić and Saida Mustajbegović engaged in discussions with the women living at the shelter on the topic of period poverty and the importance of breaking the taboos surrounding gender-based and economic violence. Through this interactive meeting, ideas were exchanged on ways to empower women and promote economic independence in communities like theirs.

The TPO Foundation expresses gratitude to the team at the Women’s House for their warm welcome and support during the visit. Their commitment to providing safety and assistance to women in need is a strong example of solidarity and an inspiration for continued collaborative efforts to empower women and promote mutual support within the community.

The “16 Days of Activism” campaign, organized by the TPO Foundation, featured a variety of activities aimed at educating, informing, and raising awareness about gender-based violence.

Over the course of the 16-day campaign, numerous events were held, and various activities were carried out. Each one, in addition to providing education, aimed to empower a broad spectrum of participants in raising awareness about the importance of preventing gender-based violence, promoting a vision of a society where solidarity and equality play a key role.

This year’s campaign saw the TPO Foundation working diligently to contribute to the prevention of gender-based violence and strengthening communities through education and partnerships. We call on all citizens, as well as media representatives and relevant institutions, to continue building a society where safety, respect, and support prevail for everyone.
