Socratic Cafés: Invitation to Participate in the Fourth Socratic Café with Founder Christopher Phillips

We invite you to a series of online Socratic Cafés where you will have a unique opportunity to engage in philosophical dialogue with Christopher Phillips, the renowned founder of Socratic Cafés. The fourth session aims to explore an important question: “What kind of guidance can foster healthier relationships and celebrate diversity?”

We would like to remind everyone that all are welcome to participate in Socratic Cafés. Age, gender, education, faith, nationality, sexual orientation – none of these matter, as everyone can benefit from life experience and wisdom. Those who participate in Socratic Cafés share the feelings of the philosopher Socrates, which involve passionate but fictional exchange of ideas.

Professor Phillips completed his master’s degree in humanities with a focus on philosophy at the University of California in 2000. He also holds a master’s degree in natural sciences from Delta State University. Phillips earned his doctorate in communications from Edith Cowan University in Australia. In 2012, he received the “Distinguished American Leadership Award.” He has also taught at New York University and the University of Pennsylvania.
