On July 21, 2023. The TPO Foundation signed a partnership agreement with the The Center for Civil Society Promotion in Sarajevo. By signing the contract, we are starting an eight-month project called "MENGA: Menstrual and Gender Action", which aims to advocate the initiative to abolish the tax on menstrual products by monitoring and financing resistance, and to influence the formation of gender-responsive budgets of educational institutions.

Through this project, the TPO Foundation will meet with non-governmental and governmental organizations and gain insight into the activities, but also the challenges they encountered during lobbying in the field of menstrual poverty and gender-responsive budgeting. Also, the project is an opportunity to start conducting research on menstrual poverty among the student population. The public will be able to participate in the presentation of the main findings of the research, giving them the opportunity to actively participate and give opinions, ideas and recommendations regarding the issue of menstrual poverty in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the signing of the partnership agreement, communication and reporting methods were agreed upon, and the director of the TPO Foundation, Prof. Dr. Zilka Spahić Šiljak, project coordinator Ivana Kulić, MA, director of the Center for Civil Society Promotion, Aida Daguda and coordinator of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network project, Mersiha Jaskić.
