The book “Challenges of integrating gender equality in the university community: Against gender-based violence” was promoted at the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) (Montenegro) and its promoters were Prof. Dr Nela Milošević, Dr Milica Kovač Orlandić, Dr Ivan Jovetić and Dr Nikoleta Đukanović.
Professors Dr Zilka Spahić Šiljak, Dr Jasna Kovačević and Dr Jasmina Husanović were the book editors. The book was published in four languages (Bosnian, Montenegrin, Croatian and Serbian), and the promotion at the UDG was the 17th promotion in total at the partner institution that participates in the UNIGEM project.
During 2021 and 2022, the UDG students, teaching and administrative staff participated in the research, and it included a total of 4,754 respondents from 18 partner universities. For the interpretation of the collected data, the researchers used the most modern scientific multidisciplinary approach.
We would like to thank our project partner, the University of Donja Gorica, for all the previous cooperation, and especially for the extremely successful promotion of the results of the first research of a kind in BiH and the region. We hope the academic community will continue research work in the field of gender.
