On December, 01. 2023. a meeting was held with principals of elementary schools in the Hadžići municipality. The meeting was held at the “Hadžići” Elementary School with the psychologist of the 9th May Elementary School, the principal of the Hadžići Elementary School, the director of the 6th March Elementary School, as well as the project team attended.

Director of the TPO Foundation, prof. Zilka Spahić Šiljak gave welcoming words and introduced the project team, which consists of the project coordinator, Nejra Džananović, MA, prof. Jasna Kovačević, researcher and professor of sports, Mirza Kovačević, leader of creative sports workshops.

Prof. Kovačević presented the basic goals of the project as well as the project phases. The principals of the schools were informed about their roles within the Local Communities for Social Cohesion project and expressed their great interest and motivation to participate in the project activities.

The next steps relate to the preparation of student groups that will participate in research on social cohesion, as well as the preparation of teaching staff interested in participating in TOT trainings on strengthening intercultural competences.
