AMANDMANS ON CONSTITUTION OF BOSNA AND HERCEGOVINA FROM GENDER PERSPECTIVE
Autors: Besima Borić i Lajla Zaimović-Kurtović

The constitutional reform that would correspond to the complex political, economic and social conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the situation of human rights, specifically gender equality, and the requirements of the road towards the EU, certainly, requires the adoption of an entirely new text of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The current text does not provide opportunities for significantly improving the Constitution through the amendment because there is a need for a larger number of amendments, which would lead to the fact that they overcome their scope of existing text of the Constitution. However, considering that in BiH more likely to change step by step, we shall give the suggestion of possible amendments to the text of the Constitution, which would greatly enhance gender equality in BiH.
